Scratch Kitchen Stuffing Helper Kit

It is recommended that you cook your stuffing in a separate dish.

Here is what you will need to make a memorable stuffing.

1 bag Sk seasoned bread bits

1 large onion small diced

6 stalks celery (leaves and all) small diced

1 stick unsalted butter

2 ½ - 3 cups chicken stock (homemade preferred)

Optional Ideas, fresh herbs, sausage, roasted nuts, dried fruits, Bacon, smoked oysters, mushrooms…

Assembly

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1-Put half of butter into a large sauté pan, wait for butter to melt and then add celery and onion season lightly with salt and pepper and cook until vegetables look wilted and have softened,

2-In a pot heat up stock  and the butter,

3-Add bread to a bowl, mix with vegetable mixture, pour stock over mixture, season to taste with salt and pepper, gently mix,  place in buttered baking container and cover with greased parchment paper and foil,  cook at 350 for about 30-35 minutes, remove cover and bake additional 15 minutes, until golden brown and crispy on top. Serve piping hot
